Jules Chuang

Jules has been extensively involved in all areas of the renewable energy markets, particularly inventing the idea of International Renewable Energy Certificate (I-REC). He has served senior management roles in finance and investment fields in Asia and the United States, and also been involved in carbon market for years. As an environmental scientist and energy economist, Jules has been successfully leading various projects with a view to promote I-REC across Asia and beyond. Recently, he is appointed as Senior Advisor to Ministry of Economic Affairs for National REC Center establishment in Taiwan. His team managed over 1GW of renewable energy projects in Asia and has developed and traded over 1TWh of I-RECs, GOs, and Japanese GECs combined together.
