The head line topic for the conference was the “Challenges and Opportunities arising from the Energy Transition in Europe”.

The energy transition in Europe presents many significant changes in how companies will buy and consume energy and will influence how companies will conduct business in the future. The decreasing reliance on nuclear power, the increasing demand for greener energy solutions and the future of gas/ coal in the energy mix will affect the future base load and price volatility. There will also be an increasing need for clear, accurate reporting on energy costs, consumption and carbon. It is critical that companies understand how the transition will influence their business plans and what options are available to implement.We have invited several external keynote speakers who, together with Bergen Energi, will discuss these issues together with a selection of workshops/ case studies to share experiences.
